Email, submission problems:

We found out that our server email system has been down, due to some configuration error on their end. We had no clue your submissions were bouncing all last week (we thought it was just a slow week)

 

The submission emails and contact email addresses all work via our Gmail alternatives. We are sorry about the confusion and have all ready bitched out our hosting service.

Bellevue, Washington: We just got partnered with Microsoft Media Networks and are now being listed on their worldwide Internet Radio listing.

 

A note from our Director Marc;

 

We want to thank all musicians and bands who have contacted us from all over the US and Internationally this past week. We have received a dozen new requests as well as many, tracks and demo CD's from cool single artists as well as several new Indy bands. We we will start to edit and recode the stuff as soon as we can into our streams. It takes our volunteer studio engineer a couple days to test your tracks, add the compression and to normalize a artists stuff for actual air play. Remember though, ABR is not just about playing your songs on our many channels of Internet Radio streams, we also feed and or are listed through legal contracts or signed agreements to the following services:

Our Promo Department is constantly researching and contacting other Internet Radio producers and organizations (including real AM/FM Broadcasting stations) to sign play agreements, non-complete disclosures, intellectual property rights contracts, etc.  so that all AIR BABY subscribers, musicians and partners will be able to use ABR as an additional 'promotional' tool. We are simply trying to get your stuff 'on-the-air' quicker and without all the regular and lengthy bullcrap!

 

The bottom line is that WE KNOW YOU JUST WANT TO BE PLAYED  AND HEARD and that is what ABR is all about.

 

July 2nd update:

ABR added two FM stations to our Affiliate/Promo list. These stations are currently allowing submissions and will play most of ABR musicians or partners work, on a first come, first served, genre appropriate schedule. ABR is glad to offer this information and will continue to research and update the list. These two stations are located in Texas and Florida. They don't require you to be part of any label to submit your work for air-play and they are looking for new artists just like those heard on Air Baby Radio. Simply email us and we'll introduce you to both stations and tell you where to send your demos for possible 'on-the-air' play, all at 'zero-cost' to our Air Baby subscribers, musicians and partners.

 

The Air-Baby Radio Beta Test channels:

We have three channels on the air now. The main channel is fed with a 1-2 hour delayed feed. So we call that a quasi-live feed. Hopefully we will be fully live when we get new DJ hosts lined up on the roster.

The other two channels are in beta test, but we are streaming the latest news snippets via text to audio stream-bot and new artist spotlights.

AIR BABY RADIO is produced by volunteers and it's facilities are located in Portland, Oregon.

Our streaming host servers and web hosting are 100% donated by Pride Electronic Labs and our

directors personal music label, Tiny Mad Idea Productions.

 

The purpose behind AIR BABY RADIO is to allow new artists and musicians a specific place to air their new music tracks, reviews, chats about the Independent music scene all hopefully WITHOUT ANY COST to the listener, user or artists.

 

This scene encompasses all genres of musicians, both vocal, band and instrumental streams.

Nobody is turned away and most every song and album gets some sort of air play. The difference between AIR BABY RADIO and other internet radio stations, is that it is 100% new and fresh independent music. We get this music by direct submission from musicians and bands that are CD BABY subscribers, INDY music subscribers, brand new bands and even single artists hoping to expand their listener base, even if it is just a little bit. AIR ABBY RADIO does not charge for this service nor do the artists or partners submitting music to be played on our network ask for or expect any play pay.

 

It is 100% about the art of music!

 

Our vision is to someday grow and evolve into a totally free venue which serves as an outlet to allow new musicians the ability to get heard, without costly promotion and distribution. Plus the ability to have your music heard all over the world and any time of day or night, is a pretty cool tool any normal radio station just can't accomplish without Internet Radio streaming.

 

Our software and servers will allow us to have 24 channels of content and still deliver 64 k encoded stereo audio to our internet listeners.

 

As our audio file inventory grows and we get more participation from artists and listeners, we foresee a time when we will expand AIR BABY RADIO to include multiple music genre specific channels.

 

There is no cost to participate or send us your audio work, be it music or talk shows, we only ask that you send us an email explaining your vision and we'll discuss your submission and try to get it assigned to one the appropriate channel play lists.

 

We have full editing, encoding and mastering services available in-house, just send us your raw files and our volunteer engineers will master your recording and get them ready to air.

 

AIR BABY RADIO is listed on 12 Internet search engines and Streaming Audio Networks, including iTunes and AOL Radio. Join us to help us grow larger and provide better promo service to the new musician or band out there that needs every extra 'push' to get heard.
